If you're familiar with previous Rockstar games, you know that the GTA 6 map will be massively large. The newest information regarding a GTA VI map has emerged from a leaked 15-second video. Popular Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier has backed up the rumoured 2025 release date from TomHenderson. I would have dismissed Las Venturas as a standalone game -it's topographically boring and outside of the strip it's not a very interesting location- but the emphasis that GTA V brought upon heists does give it a potential for intricate, flamboyant missions. It appears the wait for GTA 6 is truly set to be a few years longer yet. And even though rumors that GTA VI is in production and will return to Vice City, its unconfirmed July 2017 release begs the question: Why not set it in. I mean nothing anyone says here will rise above speculation, but I feel like the team would want a significantly different location than Los Santos and San Fierro just seems too close geographically and culturally. I really don't think you can take for granted they won't use a new city, personally I think it's less likely they'll remain in San Andreas throughout yet another five-year development cycle.
